Reading notes, week 31

by , under books, reading notes

August 1: Expedition to Ashas by Irina Rempt (that’s me). Compilation of writeups of a roleplaying campaign; I wanted to know a couple of things and got engrossed while looking those up.

August 4: At Bertram’s Hotel by Agatha Christie. One of the better Miss Marples, but as I said before with a very unsatisfactory ending. I do like the slow realization that “it’s too good to be true” actually means that it is too good to be true, and therefore not true.

Also some canon for an exchange with a looming deadline, which I can’t disclose until September, so I’ll probably forget to disclose at all.

Index of reading notes is here.
